GIRLS SOCCER PHYSICALS

MAYOR’S TEACHER OF THE YEAR AWARD
SFUSD is currently accepting nominations for the Mayor’s Teacher of the Year Award. You can show your appreciate for an LHS teacher in one of two ways. You can nominate a teacher online at www.sfgov.org/teacheraward by Friday, March 7. Or you can write a teacher a thank you note at www.ThankaTeacherToday.org
PARENT ASSOCIATION MEETING
This month’s PA meeting will be on Tuesday, February 11 from 6-7PM. Guest speakers Sergeant Chaplin and Sergeant Molina from SFPD will be discussing gang intervention and prevention. If you would like to attend, please RSVP with our Parent Liaison Susana Salinas at firstname.lastname@example.org.

This past Wednesday, Senior presented their Senior Portfolio to their follow classmates. Teachers and students alike were blown-away by the passion and self-reflection incorporated into these presentations. If you weren’t able to attend Senior Portfolio Day, Senior Exhibitions are another opportunity to see your child present. Senior Exhibitions will be on May 14.
CAP AND GOWN INFORMATION
Seniors must order their gap and gown on Wednesday, February 5 during lunch in the main office. The price for cap, gown and tassel is $27.19 (tax included). Every senior has received a packet with a catalog and additional details.
The LHS main office and classrooms would greatly benefit from the following items: Clorox wipes, and feminine products. If you are able to donate any of these items, please bring them to the main office, room #301. Thank You!
