ALL SCHOOL MEETING
During our ASM this past Friday, we celebrated many of our hard-working students. We awarded Honor Roll certificates to approximately 40% of our student body, who all achieved a 3.0-4.0 GPA. We also presented SWO awards to 32 exemplary students, who consistently demonstrated qualities of our School Wide Outcomes.
The Parent Association will be hosting a fundraiser at Chevys in South San Francisco on Wednesday, February 19 from 4-9pm. Chevys will donate 15% of the proceeds back to our school. Bring your family and friends for a good time!
LEGALLY ASIAN CONFERENCE
The Asian American Bar Association will be hosting the 5th Annual Legally Asian Conference on Saturday, February 22 from 10am-4pm at Golden Gate University. This event will feature discussions about law school and what students can do with a law degree, with a focus on Asian and Pacific Islander issues. LHS is offering an extremely beneficial 18-hour SAT class for $179. This 3-hour class will occur every Saturday for 6 weeks, from March through April. This class is a great investment that will prepare students significantly for the SAT test in May. Students will need to sign up with their advisors ASAP if they are interested. The final payment is due on Friday, February 14.
FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOP REMINDER
Senior Parents! Do you need help filling out FASFA application? If so, join us at the Cash for College financial aid workshop on 1/29 from 6-8pm to get your questions answered and a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship!
