Open House
Leadership’s Annual Open House is being held on Saturday, November 7th from 10am-12pm. The Open House is for prospective parents and students to learn more about our school. If you would like to volunteer during the Open House, please contact our Parent Liaison Terye Lewis at terye.lewis@yahoo.com.

Board Meeting
The Quarter 2 Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday December 8th from 6:30-9:30pm. Our Board of Trustees discusses and votes on important issues that impact our school. These meetings are open to the public. Classroom TBD.

Parent Association
The Quarter 2 Parent Association meeting will be held on Thursday December 10th from 6-7:30pm. The Parent Association organizes fundraisers and volunteer opportunities for parents. These meetings are a great way to get involved with our community. Classroom TBD.

Senior Portraits
Senior Portraits will be taken on November 12 and 13 from 3-8pm. Appointments will be scheduled by Antonio Medina. Your student will be notified of their timeslot within the next two weeks.

Free/Reduced Lunch Applications
We have approximately 20 families who have not submitted their free/reduced lunch application. This form is not only critical for ensuring that your student has access to meals at school, but also because it greatly affects the funding that Leadership gets from the State of California. This makes it that much more important that we receive a form for each student, regardless of whether they qualify for free/reduced lunch or eat in the cafeteria.
Notices have been mailed home to all families without applications. We have also spoken with each student individually. If you need a paper application, please come by our office. If you’d prefer to apply online, you can do so at https://schoolmealapp.sfusd.edu/
Help us reach 100% so our students can get the funding they deserve!
Leadership is Accepting Applications!
We are now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 school year! If you know a student who will thrive at Leadership please direct them to http://www.leadershiphigh.org/how-to-enroll/apply-online/ to apply online. Siblings of current and former students receive priority admission. Our application deadline is January 15th, 2016.

Donations
The LHS main office and classrooms would greatly benefit from the following items: Clorox wipes, tissues, feminine products, paper towels, cough drops, ibuprofen, plastic forks, paper plates, napkins, basic first aid supplies, and basic school supplies. If you are able to donate any of these items, please bring them to the main office, room #301.
