Leadership Students

Leadership students represent the diversity of San Francisco and the Bay Area. Most live in San Francisco, but others travel to Leadership from San Mateo County, from the East Bay, and even from the Central Valley!

Most Leadership students come from other charter schools, from Parochial schools, or from District schools. Some have been homeschooled before coming to LHS; others attended non-religious private schools.

Students choose Leadership because of its small size, its diversity, its friendly sense of community, and its strong teaching.

"What I appreciate most about Leadership is the sense of community and family.  Students have good relationships with their teachers, and everybody pushes you to be the best you can be."

--Milan, Class of 2008

"What I appreciate most about Leadership is my teachers because they want me to succeed and to go college."

--Carlos B., Class of 2013

"What I appreciate most about Leadership is that it is small, everyone knows everyone."

--Gorge A., Class of 2013

"What I appreciate about LHS the most is there are office hours at lunch and after school and because the teachers take their own time to stay to help us with whatever we need."

 -Karla E., Class of 2013
