Student Activities at LHS

Student Government

Leadership has an active Student Government that includes All School Officers, Grade Level Officers, and Advisory Representatives. Additionally, each year a student is elected to serve as Student Body Representative of our Board of Trustees. 

The Student Government meets weekly to plan dances, All-School Meetings, and other community events. Officers and the Student Board Representative represent the voices of students to the Board and Principal.

Student Clubs

Clubs at Leadership are initiated through student interest and run by students.  Each year the clubs offered change as student interest and leadership changes.  Active clubs include:

  • La Raza Club
  • Asian-Pacific Islander Club
  • Step Team
  • Building with Books
  • Black Student Union
  • Ping Pong Club
  • Student Newspaper

Student Ambassadors

Through LHS's unique Ambassador program, students take the lead in representing LHS to the broader community.  Student Ambassadors lead Enrollment Presentations for propspective families, host visitors to the school, and travel with staff to lead professional development all over the county.  Each fall, the school holds an Ambassador training; all students who take part in the training are welcome to serve as Ambassadors.
