The Student Life Department – which includes athletics, counseling, student government, and student activities– aims to support students in their journey toward self-awareness by providing students with opportunities to take responsibility for their learning and to take an active role in their community.
Student activities at Leadership are designed to build community across difference, to support students to take on meaningful leadership in their school, and to foster a positive and healthy family-like culture in the school.
Student Life Department Outcomes
- Students will identify the individual and social issues that influence their journey as life-long learners.
- Students will identify the conditions under which they best learn and will understand the connection between behavior and achievement from themselves.
- Students will explore new opportunities, express school pride, and participate as active members of the Leadership community.
- Students will develop a supportive and encouraging relationship with at least one adult in the school community.
